Just over a week after the Indiana Gaming Commission gave the green light, the list of all Indiana sports betting locations continues to grow. While that’s confined to Indiana casinos, for now, that won’t always be the case.
Even with legal sports betting in Indiana currently confined to physical sportsbooks, most Indiana residents and visitors are within a short drive of a place where they can place a wager. Because of that, there are plenty of options to consider.

- Belterra and Blue Chip: FanDuel Sportsbook
- French Lick: Rush Street Interactive
- Harrah’s Hoosier Park: Caesar’s
- Hollywood: FoxBet, theScore, PointsBet, DraftKings*

More Indiana sportsbooks on the way

Three of Indiana’s brightest casino stars are set to open sportsbooks, albeit at dates that aren’t imminent. The Majestic Star and Rising Star comprise that list.
The Majestic Star, which will relocate to Gary and rebrand as a Hard Rock Casino, is slated for a launch on New Year’s Eve 2020. Both online and physical sportsbook options will be available then.

The Rising Star doesn’t have to undergo as drastic a renovation as the Majestic Star, but its recent partnership with Smarkets will require some work. A launch date hasn’t been announced yet.
Other casinos in the state that haven’t yet announced plans but could at any time include the Four Winds South Bend and Tropicana Evansville. The Pokagon Band of the Potawatomi Nation operates the Four Winds while the Tropicana Evansville is run by Tropicana Entertainment.

William Hill operates the sportsbook at the Tropicana in Atlantic City, so that’s a potential in-road into Indiana for that operator. It’s uncertain which operator the Four Winds might partner with.
While more options are imminent, the collection of books available now is significant. Because of that, Indiana is quickly becoming a hotbed state for sports betting.
